민미협 2차 토론을 위하여
저번 토론회 회의 결과가 늦군요. 좀 더 기다려 보기로 하고, 대충 저번 토론을 개인적으로 정리하여 알립니다. 혹 저번에 못 오신 분들은 이글을 참고 해 주시길~ 현재 부산민미협의 조직 논의를 진행 중입니다. 새로운 조직의 형태를 이야기 하는 중인게져. 내용이 달라지면 입는 옷도 달라지고, 그 명칭도 달라지겠죠. 문제는 현실성 없는 거창한 이야기로 끝나는 토론이 아닌, 상호 책임 가능한 현실성에기반을 두어야 한다는 것입니다.
요지는 이렇습니다. 기존 조직의 상향식 의견 취합과 하향식 집행에 대한 문제 제기입니다.
그러니까? 현재 민미협의 방식에 대한 제고 인거져 (이는 제 단체들이 선택하는 보편적인 민주적인 방법에 대한 나름의 의심입니다)이런 방식이 어찌되었든 우리는 집행부 부재와 회원 참여의 부족, 개인적 활동의 조직 내 배제를 초래하는 지경에 와 있다는 현실이라는 겁니다. 이에 대한 논의는 기존 사고에 대한 발상의 전환입니다. 좀 더 회원 개개인의 사사로운 활동을 기초로 하는 수평적인 회 체계에 대한 방식과 그 방법을 찾는 것입니다. 저번 토론회는 제가 보기론 전체적인 문제의식은 공유가 잘 되었고, 이번 토론은 그 방법에 대한논의를 이어 할 것 같다는 겁니다.(발상을 실현하는 조직의 방법을 어떻게?) 이지점에 개인의 대표가 아닌, 공동 운영체제라든가 개인의 창작 영력에 근거한 해쳐 모여식의 소 단체 운영(이도 저도 아니면 자유로운 개인으로 활동을 하는 방식)또한 소 단체나 한시적 프로젝트 팀을 자유롭게 넘나드는 방식도 좋구요. 일단 개인의 모든 것에 대한 기본이 회를 구성하는 성과의 기본임을 고쳐 바라본다는 것입니다. 이게 예술가 조직인 지금의 회원들 형편을 편하게 하고, 기초부터 능동적으로 만들 수 있다면 그렇게 가자는 것입니다. 대충 이정도 인데, 담에 많은 의견을 나누고 의견 진행도 개인의 역량에 맞게 상호 설득과 이해를 하면서 천천히 갔으면 합니다. 정기 총회가 곧 다가 오지만, 토론 여하에 따라 좀 몇 달 미루더라도 모든 회원들이 공감 가는 방식으로 결론을 기다릴까합니다. (이왕지사 올 해부터 민미협 회장 일을 그만들 작정이었으니, 몇 달 정도 늦는 것이 뭔 대수겠습니까 ㅎ)그럼 이만 전하고, 토론회 때 뵙겠습니다.
* 염려_ 이도 개인적인데 모든 제도라는게 과거든 현재든 불편과 지혜가 함께 담겨져 있는듯하다는 겁니다. 때문에 완벽을 기준으로 넘 염려를 하셔도 좋지 않을 뿐더러, 너무 믿고 낙관을 하셔도 아니될 것 같습니다. 변화는 생명의 거스릴 수 없는 숙명 같습니다. 사람이든 조직이든 이 변화를 지혜롭게 맞이할 뿐 인 것 같습니다. 체세포든 뇌세포든 또는 흘러가는 시간이든 아주 작은 곳에서 부터 개인의 변화가 생겨나듯이, 회원 개개인의 환경 변화에서 부터 조직의 변화는 예고 될 수도 있는 듯합니다. 부산민미협이 95년에 창립하였을 적, 제 나이는 28살 이었습니다. 창립한지 15년이 지나고 나이도 43살로 접어들고 있으니 그리 적은 세월이 아니었다는 겁니다. 이제는 털건 털고 솔직 할건 솔직해야할 나름의 연륜을 맞이 한게져. 젊어 민족과 민주주의, 혁명을 고민할 수 있었던 것은 선배 분들의 빛나는 사유를 운 좋게 물려받은 특혜 같다란 생각도 들 곤 하고, 이제 후배들에게 그 책임을 달리 물려 줘야하는 위치에 와 버린 것도 같으나 아직도 저는 15년 전과 같이 미숙하고 부덕하기 짝이 없다는 것입니다. 다들 서로에게 짐이 아닌, 몸도 마음도 또 회 생활도 가볍게 서로에게 아름다운 동행이 되길 바랍니다만, 이도 인생사 쉽지 않으니 기원을 할 뿐입니다.
